My video chip is an ATI mobile radeon 9700 (without TV tuner). I am getting this message on the cli terminal sometimes: Failed to open VDPAU backend libvdpau_nvidia.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory and it is repeated 3 times So I looked in my .xsession-errors and found: ** (firefox:1093): DEBUG: OpenURI reply ** (firefox:1093): DEBUG: 0x915c6ac0: "Command 'Play'" TotemEmbedded-Message: totem_embedded_do_command: Play ** Message: Error: Your GStreamer installation is missing a plug-in. gstdecodebin2.c(3126): gst_decode_bin_expose (): /GstPlayBin2:play/GstURIDecodeBin:uridecodebin0/GstDecodeBin2:decodebin20: no suitable plugins found ** Message: Missing plugin: gstreamer|0.10|totem-plugin-viewer|Quicktime demuxer|decoder-video/quicktime (Quicktime demuxer) ** Message: PackageKit: xid = 12587089 ** Message: PackageKit: Codec nice name: Quicktime demuxer ** Message: PackageKit: structure: gstreamer0.10(decoder-video/quicktime) ** (firefox:1093): DEBUG: 0x915c6ac0: "NewStream mimetype 'video/quicktime' URL 'http://www.scififree.tv/unicast_mov/AFTVSciFiH264250.mov'" ** (firefox:1093): DEBUG: 0x915c6ac0: "Not expecting a new stream; aborting stream" Failed to open VDPAU backend libvdpau_nvidia.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory ** Message: PackageKit: Did not install codec: did not agree to search Failed to open VDPAU backend libvdpau_nvidia.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory This comes out when I browsed to a freetv web site. I have all gstreamer codecs installed. I have all mplayer codecs installed. So, what plugin do I need to handle the mime type video/quicktime ? And why is firefox (Or is it packageKit) trying to access libvdpau_nvidia.so ? -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines
