Any and all advice on how to proceed from here, ie exactly what to put in the xorg.conf file to tell the driver to ignore EDID and probings and use a modeline directly, will be appreciated. BTW, PixClock max 285 MHz is quite a bit less than the maximum pixel rate for HDMI 1.3, which is probably what the card in the HDX puts out.
