I have been seeing problems with USB 1 devices/hubs since 2.6.36. I am not
sure if they are fixed yet in the released version of 2.6.38, but definitely
it was still in issue with the prerelease versions I was trying. (For now
I am avaoiding using USB devices on the problem machine.)
