They will have to bring in a consultant who WILL tell them the facts and put it in their face. That is sad, but that is the way. We don't even install nslookup anymore and we are a MAJOR customer of Oracle and RedHat (something in the number of thousands of systems installed.) I talk to the manager of DNS services to see if their system has it installed, but I'm just about certain that they are dig only.
