Which file exactly is search for? There is no non-versioned gmime.pc here,
afaik, and that makes a _big_ difference:

$ repoquery --whatprovides /usr/lib/pkgconfig/gmime-2.0.pc
gmime22-devel-0:2.2.25-1.fc13.i686
$ repoquery --whatprovides /usr/lib/pkgconfig/gmime-2.6.pc
gmime-devel-0:2.5.1-1.fc13.i686
