$ rpm -ql cifs-utils
/sbin/mount.cifs  <=======================================================
/usr/sbin/cifs.upcall
/usr/share/man/man8/cifs.upcall.8.gz
/usr/share/man/man8/mount.cifs.8.gz

Btw, you can change it back to:
# echo 0 > /proc/fs/cifs/cifsFYI
