No. It's a static IP-address and it's hard-coded in
/etc/sysconfig/networking/devices/ifcfg-eth0

No need for that step (?), as network brings it up automatically.
But this just cuts out the noise from NetworkManager, I think. So now I
get the bare-bones of the loop in syslog:

which just repeats until I reset the router. I guess the router just
doesn't like what it's getting.
