Well, it's a gigantic package and the base package changes somewhat
regularly. I would personally try and work with upstream to either come
up with another way of making the docs available, or some way to at
least decouple them from the source they don't have to update every
time, or the like. 

At it's worst this was causing every fedora mirror to use up at least
2,800MB of space, which is nothing to sneeze at.
