well, I'm not big on action games either. I don't mind playing
them, but my son laughs his backside off watching me try to manipulate
all the various keys and key-chords. I'm awful at it.

I waste a lot of time, however, with things like Pysol-FC (which simply
HAS to be the best collection of solitaire games around), Frozen bubble,
and one I bought a while back for ten bucks, Osmos which is slow moving
and peaceful with beautiful animated screens to navigate around.
there are also some games starring professor Fizwizzle, but right now
I can't remember the name(s). they are commercial, but not expensive.
