from /var/log/maillog :

daemon MTA : problem creating SMTP socket

NOQUEUE : SYSERR(root): opendaemonsocket : daemon MTA : cannot bind: Address already in use

 

>hostname

kaushik.example.com

>hostname -f

kaushik.example.com

 

Any idea what is going wrong.
