It's an MP3 file. Dunno why they do that, I can't see any good reason for an MP3 file to masquerade as a WAV file. Since MP3 is proprietary, Fedora doesn't support it. However, you can add MP3 support by getting packages from outside of Fedora. e.g. See: http://rpmfusion.org/ Not sure what's needed to get MP3 support into K3B, I don't use it.
