Man page for package-cleanup says:
        --orphans
               List  installed  packages  which are not available from 
currenly
               configured repositories. This is identical to "yum list 
extras",
               which may provide better output.

So, this is not what Tom was aiming for, since Tom was
also looking for packages that no oher package depends on,
and such packages could come from current repos.
