permissions problem of some sort. ÂThe packages are there, they just
can't be accessed because something has changed the access rights.
Does sox or audacity work for converting to mp3?
Do you have lame and libmad installed? ÂThese are other libraries
that allow encoding and playing mp3s. ÂI can't think about how they
could be the cause of your problem, just suggest them as a wild
possibility.

1.- yum -y install xine-lib-extras xine-lib-extras-freeworld k3b-extras-freeworld
GNOME:
1.-Âyum -y install gstreamer-plugins-bad gstreamer-plugins-bad-free-extras gstreamer-plugins-bad-nonfree gstreamer-plugins-ugly gstreamer-ffmpeg
