It sounds as though Fedora thinks it's part of a RAID.  What happens now
when you mount it as /dev/dm-6/home?  Also, you do realize, don't you,
that F 10 is several years past EOL?  What happens when you mount it on
a more recent version of Fedora?
Yes. I tried to move to fedora 11 12 and 13, unfortunately it fails
at the last step so, I had to restart and try the get the fedora 10
in good shape !!!!
