FWIW, you can get the version packaged by Oracle via the repo below directly thru yum (save those lines in a /etc/yum.repos.d file):

[virtualbox]
name=Fedora $releasever - $basearch - VirtualBox
baseurl=http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/rpm/fedora/$releasever/$basearch
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian/oracle_vbox.asc

This should give you USB support.
