It is a thing that appears to be a cdrom holding a CD with various windows
drivers and utilities, but not being an actual cdrom, you can't
eject the disk or really use it as a cdrom drive in any random
programs that keep offering it as a choice for cdrom drive, etc.
Basically when you plug it in, you get 2 drives - the hard disk
and the fake cdrom.
