If you know the vertical resolution you can use gtf (?) to figure it 
out.  However, if you think the problem is hardware related, this may or 
may not work.  Doc Savage gave me a couple of lines that should work 
with my Thinkpad.  I have not been able to get them to work, yet.  Might 
be my problem (PEBKAC). :)
