 Any suggestions on how to get it back?

Hi,
are you sure you asked the right question ?
You see my F13 seems to have stopped notify me about updates too.
Is it because we lost the notification icon ?
I would like to know it too :-)

You can always use command shell and try:
$ sudo yum upgrade --skip-broken

and do this command daily.  Or you can install yumex and run daily from your desktop of choice.  I think that you must have turned off notifications.
