Or if you are more of a command-line type of guy, yum is the
command-line version of add/remove.

for instance:
yum -y install <package-name>    wille install the package with the
specified name. yum will also resolve all dependencies needed.

Both command-line and Graphical interface use so called 'repositories'
to search/find/download software.
