Except that if the host's Xorg is used to display an application like OpenOffice.org or Firerox, I would still expect it to lock the screen if there is not keyboard activity. The key is not the displaying of anything but the inputdev activity. Likewise, if I am working on the VM through the host, the host will see keyboard or mouse events and should not enable its screensaver.
