OK - if above is true, then there is either a problem with the
libflashplayer-xxx-.so file itself or where you put it. (which as I
understand it, should be /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins/ directory).

Perhaps not everyone can 'execute' it or it got damaged somehow or is
just in the wrong place.
