When I downloaded another copy directly from Google I got a different result (though both rpms show the same version number). The repo URL is baseurl=http://dl.google.com/linux/rpm/stable/x86_64, IOW it looks like someone put the 32-bit version in place of the 64-bit one. That's probably the root cause.
