To disable ipv6 on F12 on the next reboot just add the line

net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1

to your /etc/sysctl.conf file.

To disable it right away issue the command

sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6=1

To disable ipv6 on just one interface (for example eth0) issue the
command

sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.eth0.disable_ipv6=1

or enter the line

net.ipv6.conf.eth0.disable_ipv6 = 1

in your /etc/sysctl.conf file for the next reboot
