Even though you are not using the "fsid=0" option for your
lion:/pub /lion nfs4 rsize=8192,wsize=8192,timeo=14,intr 0 0
export, you might need to use
mount -t nfs4 lion:/ /lion
rather than
mount -t nfs4 lion:/pub /lion
(as in your first post) in order to mount the lion export because of
nfsv4's pseudo-root feature.
