Hi all, I would like to upgrade an existing F11 system to F12. However, the installer throws up an error message: ---- Unable to read package metadata. This may be due to a missing repodata directory. Please ensure that your install tree has been properly generated. Cannot retrieve repository data (respond.xml) for respository anaconda-InstallationRepo-200911081904-x86_64. Please verify its path and try again. ---- I've seen this the last few Fedora upgrades. As a result, I usually end up doing the upgrade with yum. However this time I am changing architecture (686->86_64) and would prefer to do it from the DVD, as I don't believe that using yum to do this is supported. Thanks. ----- Colin Brace Amsterdam http://lim.nl -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/F11--%3E-F12-from-DVD%3A-error--unable-to-read-package-metadata-tp26530686p26530686.html Sent from the Fedora List mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Communicate/MailingListGuidelines
