Anyway, tune2fs -r 0 /dev/sda1, in my case was enough
to get sysrem preupgraded. Went smoothly throug, except kernel
panic at start. fortunately I had compiled vanilla-kernel, what with 
got system running. Ques have to run grub-install to get fc12 kernel
running.
