In this particular case, also, I doubt strongly that I'll be able to actually use the app when I have it. As you'll see in another thread here, I'm still in the playpen with a couple of proprietary suites of GPS software -- all the linux-native apps I've tried seem to me to require advanced degrees in EE, cartography, CS, or two or all three of those.
