Maybe I should ask Sun? | For Sun's 64-bit plugin I have the link libnpjp2.so -> [your_jre_installation_directory]/jre/lib/amd64/libnpjp2.so I'm still using 1.6.0_13, don't know if 1.6.0_17 is doing things the same way or not.
