VMware Workstation 6.5.3 on F11

Has anyone succeeded in installing the 64bit VMware Workstation 6.5.3 (the latest version) on F11?

I've tried twice now and in both cases it's hung:

This never completes.

The system is a Dell Precision Mobile 65 laptop.
