Dear all

Today I'm getting following [1] errors on the boot screen when I start
my laptop with FC 11 ( yesterday it was ok... I have not installed any
new software )

[1]

Loading tp_smapi driver moduleWARNING: Deprecated config file

what this error means ....... how do I resolve it ?? what happened
to my FC installation

All the files/info needed by modprobe should now exist in
/etc/modprobe.d. The lines in /etc/modprobe.conf should have been
converted and /etc/modprobe.conf should no longer be needed. Rename it
to /etc/modprobe.conf.OLD and you won't get these info messages on
boot. Of course, verify after booting that all works....in the event
some info didn't get converted to the new way.

Nothing really happened....except maybe an evolution....

oh.. thats gone......... I've renamed /etc/modprobe.conf

thanx for your kind help
