rpm cpio error: Digest mismatch problem on glibc-common

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Dear all,

I did a yum update and when it updates glibc-common-2.10.1-5.i586.rpm,
it gives me the following error message:

error: unpacking of archive failed on file
/usr/lib/locale/locale-archive.tmpl;4ab1b204: cpio: Digest mismatch

The other packages are all updated correctly, and now I have:
$ rpm -qa |grep glibc
glibc-devel-2.10.1-5.i586
glibc-common-2.10.1-2.i586
glibc-headers-2.10.1-5.i586
glibc-2.10.1-5.i686

I also did a checksig for glibc-common-2.10.1-5.i586.rpm and it said
the signature is OK:
$ rpm -q --checksig glibc-common-2.10.1-5.i586.rpm
glibc-common-2.10.1-5.i586.rpm: rsa sha1 (md5) pgp md5 OK
I'm not sure if this is necessary.

Any ideas? Thanks.
