I keep my contacts in a Gmail account.  Using EAS, it syncs to my iPhone
and, using the GContactSync extension, to Thunderbird on my Fedora
desktop.  Google has a tool to sync it to Outlook on a Windows desktop
or one can use GContactSync with T-bird on Windows as well.  I'm not
sure how this might work with KMail.  Updates can be made from the GUIs
on any of the platforms or at GMail itself.
