turn airport off for a minute or two.. need to erase routing data there. wifi adapter should be off as well airport comes on first then the wifi adapter see that you are connected to the correct SSID the airport. You may have to reset the airport router via the MAC machine,
and see that you are pulling an ip address, airports issue a 10.1.1.254 range
ping the gateway ping a loop ping yahoo.com
open a browser appears the airport is holding the earlier ip add and arp, mac from fedora10 machine. a DNS flush might help

Hi guys, Ever since I installed F11 I have been unable to get wifi to work. I have an airport router using mac filtering and wpa2 personal encryption. I used these exact same things when running F10 and had no problems with wifi. Doing:
lsmod iwl3945 143644 0 ifconfig wlan0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:1F:3C:91:CA:0F UP BROADCAST MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b)
lspci 03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG [Golan] Network Connection (rev 02)
I have:
kernel.x86_64 2.6.29.5-191.fc11 @updates kernel.x86_64 2.6.29.6-217.2.3.fc11 @updates kernel.x86_64 2.6.29.6-217.2.8.fc11 @updates
kernel-devel.x86_64 2.6.29.5-191.fc11 @updates kernel-devel.x86_64 2.6.29.6-217.2.3.fc11 @updates kernel-devel.x86_64 2.6.29.6-217.2.8.fc11 @updates
kernel-firmware.noarch 2.6.29.6-217.2.8.fc11 @updates kernel-headers.x86_64 2.6.29.6-217.2.8.fc11 @updates
iwl3945-firmware.noarch 15.32.2.9-1.fc11 installed
wireless-tools-29-4.fc11.x86_64 wireless-tools-devel-29-4.fc11.x86_64
When I try to connect to my network and do a dmesg I get:
iwl3945 0000:03:00.0: firmware: requesting iwlwifi-3945-2.ucode iwl3945 loaded firmware version 15.32.2.9
At this point I don't know what else to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Gregory
