Normal suspend and hibernate works properly on my laptop using the rpmfusion.org NVidia drivers on Fedora 11. I didn't have to patch or change anything. I have a NVidia GeForce 8400M GS in my Dell XPS M1330 laptop. While I'm not thrilled about using the proprietary driver, that driver for now is the only way suspend and hibernate work properly.
