 Numbers and lexical order are not always ideal ... which is processed
first:

       a) 99-xxx

       b) 100-xxx

 Also, the phrase 'regardless in which of these directories' - is
interesting - as no directory has precedence .. which is useful or
confusing depending on perspective I suppose ..
