Works for me:

skype-2.0.0.72-fc5.i586
kernel 2.6.29.5-191.fc11.x86_64
kdelibs-4.2.4-2.fc11.x86_64

Using KDE. Webcam is a logitech quickcam pro 9000. Webcam works fine, as
does sound; Skype test call works okay.

Anything in any log files?
