Sound Issues With F11

I have been having audio problems with F11. I'm not sure what to blame
because it appears random and without leaving a trace. All sounds
including system sound turn to static and the only way to restore
sound is to reboot. It seems to do it at least once or twice a day
without warning.

I filed this bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=508200
although it may or may not be the actual cause. Has anyone else been
having problems with their sound using an Intel Corporation 82801EB/ER
(ICH5/ICH5R) AC'97
Audio Controller? I'd like to see it resolved or at least see some
input that can lead me in the right direction for clues as it seems
system messages do not tell me anything.

Thanks
