You can do a "yum install system-config-display" and get back
the X config app they removed from the standard distro because
X is now perfect and never makes any mistakes :-).

Thanks, that took care of half of the problem. Now, the other half is that F8 supported a 1360x768 (widescreen) display mode and F11 doesn't - it keeps defaulting to 1024x768 and will not go to the widescreen mode even when it is listed as the only option in xorg.conf (it drops to an unsupported display mode for some reason). Any suggestions?
