I was prompted that there was a new version of Fedora available and did I want to install it? I allowed Fedora to upgrade itself and everything went smoothly. I have a total of 3 HDDs in this system and do NOT have a standard layout. So, I think the phrase YMMV is appropriate here. That being said, I think that, yes, there may be some things that break in an upgrade like this, but it should be relatively easy to fix, I would think.
