Yum self destructs

Two days ago I did 'yum update' on this F10 laptop.
Now I find yum no longer works. How do I recover from this disaster?
(short of installing F11, which will occur eventually when I get home
from a trip.)

Here's the new output from trying to use yum:

With a non-functional yum, how do I fix yum?

What a mess!
