Installing F11 from a usbkey - a howto on the wiki

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I have added a section to the wiki page at
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_create_and_use_Live_USB
that describes how to make a usbkey to do the equivalent of a DVD install
from an optical drive but without the optical drive!

I needed this for a netbook that had no DVD drive, but also that only has a
/ and /opt partition as well as an ext3 /boot partition - and I wanted to
reformat the root and /opt partitions to ext4 during the install....

Anyway I hope this is useful -
