trying to upgrade via yum

It's not officially supported, but it's done me fine with a bit of fiddling over many many releases - this one's got me stumped, however.

rpm -Uvh ftp://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/releases/11/Fedora/x86_64/os/Packages/fedora-release-11-1.noarch.rpm

rpm -Uvh ftp://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/releases/11/Fedora/x86_64/os/Packages/fedora-release-notes-11.0.0-2.fc11.noarch.rpm

yum update rpm\* yum\*

There's no mirrorlist.txt file there.

All looks fine. Most odd. Anyone got any ideas?
