Bonjour,

I have just installed f10 on a dell latitude E6400. It is not clear for
me if there is a webcam installed or not.

I did not find anything using lshw but:

1- there is a video kernel module in use (lsmod).

2- there are two messages in dmesg which I don't understand:

input: Video Bus as
/devices/LNXSYSTM:00/device:00/PNP0A03:00/device:34/device:35/input/input10
ACPI: Video Device [VID] (multi-head: yes rom: no post: no)
acpi device:3e: registered as cooling_device3
input: Video Bus as
/devices/LNXSYSTM:00/device:00/PNP0A03:00/device:3c/input/input11

ACPI: Video Device [VID1] (multi-head: yes rom: no post: no)
input: Video Bus as
/devices/LNXSYSTM:00/device:00/PNP0A03:00/device:43/input/input12
ACPI: Video Device [VID2] (multi-head: yes rom: no post: no)

Are theses messages related to an inboard webcam?

3- There is no video device in /dev

4- Cheese does not detect any webcam

How can investigate about this webcam (if any)?

Thanks for helping.
