I have a running Fedora 10/KDE install. That is booting and running okay.
If I attempt to run a FC11 install CD I get this error message. Each CD
is booting off of CD.
Kernel Panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown
block (0,0)
If I attempt to run the FC10 Install CD I get this error message.
RAMDISK: Compressed image found at block 0
RAMDISK: incomplete write (-28 ! = 327768 16777216)
crc error
VFS: Cannot open root device "<NULL>" or unknown - block (253,0)
Please append a correct "root=" boot option: here are the available
partitions:
0800 7880544 sda driver: sd
0801 31522680 sda1
0810 31522680 sdb driver: sd
0811 31519498 sdb1

This is a EeePC 1000 laptop and the ,
/ partition is sda1 (8gb SSD)
/home partition is sdb1 (32gb SSD)
And initially I installed Fedora 10 off a CD without any errors .
