There also is a persistant problem with font corruption in Firefox which I have discovered can be corrected by exiting firefox, logging out, logging in again and then restarting firefox. Seems like there is a problem with your xterm > setup. I did not have this problem when I first installed Fedora. But the problem has gotten steadily worse since it developed. This is the first time I've seen it occur in man pages.
