Check man pm-suspend. Look for SUSPEND_MODULES. Presumably they'll be 
reloaded, 'tho I don't know for sure.  pm-suspend is a shell script, so 
you can follow the action. Also try: PM_DEBUG=true pm-suspend, then 
look in /var/log/pm-suspend.log
