I’d start playing with Virtual Tools -> Virtual Machine Manager or virt-manager (from a root shell): it gives a basic graphical interface to this. Two things to watch out for at the moment: if you’re using SELinux, you’ll find that ISOs and system images need to be in /var/lib/libvirt/images, and you might need to run restorecon /var/lib/libvirt/images/* Otherwise you’ll get a lot of SELinux errors.
