USB troubles

I am having trouble with some USB devices on Fedora 10. I have three computer running fedora 10 and they all seem to have similar issues.

I have a Palm Lifedrive. Thus, it should be able to sync in hotsync mode as well as act as a storage device.

Sync'ing:
	- it does not work with jpilot preferences selected "usb:".
- If I modprobe visor (or turn off the blacklist visor in /etc/modprobe.d), the devices /dev/ttyUSB0 and /dev/ttyUSB1 appear. Originally, this was fine but now I have lost permissions and can only access those devices as root (or, if I use root to chmod them).

Lifedrive access:
- If I enter "drive mode" in the palm, the device does not automatically appear. But, I can access the device if I mount the device by hand:
	mount -t vfat /dev/sdc1 tmp/

It is not an emergency, but it is annoying. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is the result of /var/log/messages when I plug in the device:
