If I run top in another terminal while compiling it states that about 15MB of the swap is used and df states that there is 1GB free space on the HDD. I have also tried mounting an nfs share as the rpmbuild directory giving me 5GB of free space on the local ps3 drive and over 100GB free space on the share but that gives me the same build error.
