You can limit it, but that's as far as you can go. There is no way to guarantee that a user will never be faced with a message from the computer that s/he will not be able to handle. This is where a bare minimum of user education is required: teach them to communicate to you or your staff immediately and clearly what has occurred so that you can get it resolved with the minimum of effort and go back to playing with your toys as soon as possible.
